8 Weight Loss Tricks That Get Results!

Tip #1 Don't procrastinate until the New Year-start now!


How many of you wait until January 1st to start an exercise or weight loss program? Take into account how much weight is normally gained between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day? Ask yourself, why wait? Start getting that sexy and lean body you always wanted now!


Tip # 2 Always do things you enjoy.


If you prefer to dance or walk vs going on the treadmill then did it! Alternatively, if you like your vegetables cooked into the foods you prepare rather than eating them raw that do it.


Tip #3 Surround yourself with people who are supportive of you.


When you are around positive people you cannot help but to pick up their positive vibes.


Tip # 4 Practice positive imagery all day long.


Clip pictures of people who you admire. See yourself as that lean and sexy person. Imagine how much better you will look and feel when you have lost that weight.


Tip # 5 Keep an exercise and food journal.


Record daily what you have eaten and which work outs you did. Record how you felt -whether good or bad. If you had an exceptionally stressful day put that down and how you felt about it.


Tip #6 Grab that tape measure!


Record your measurements on the first day of every month. Put your results in your journal or if you like to see the inches come off plot your results on an excel spreadsheet.


Tip #7 Get a coach or a buddy.


Find someone who is supportive of your goals who will hold you accountable for your actions and if they need to loss some weight you help them out as well.


Tip # 8 Establish measurable weight loss goals.


It is not to say I want to lose a lot of weight. Say I want to weight 125 pounds by such and such date. Place that goal in front of you everyday. Picture yourself as that people weighing 125 pounds and doing the things you enjoy.
